On March 9, at the National Junior College Athletic Association District 10 Championship, Henry Ford College lost to St. Clair County Community College, 88-71.
On March 8, Henry Ford College (23-9) traveled to Grand Rapids as the number one seed in district ten of the National Junior College Athletic Association tournament.
On March 2, Henry Ford College defeated Grand Rapids Community College 77-73 to win the Michigan Community College Athletic Association championship.
On Feb. 27, St. Clair College (24-6) traveled to Henry Ford College (21-8) to square off for the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Eastern Conference Championship, ending with Henry Ford beating St. Claire 64-63.
The Henry Ford College Hawks roller hockey team had a tough weekend at Joe Dumars Fieldhouse. They took on Akron, Western Michigan, Michigan State, Stony Brook and Grand Valley all in two days.
The Henry Ford College Men’s’ Basketball team is the school’s oldest program, and with that there have been many notable players to step on to the court. One player who is helping lead the Hawks to the playoffs this season is Leon Ayers.
