The Henry Ford College women’s basketball team has a new head coach. Coach Kareem Hogan was assistant coach for two years for the Oakland Community College women’s team. This will be Coach Hogan’s first time as head coach.

Last fall, the women’s volleyball team had a very exciting season, despite losing in the playoffs against Cuyahoga Community College. The Lady Hawks went 6-6 in the conference and had a winning 3-2 record at home.

Joshua Mann was a member of the Henry Ford College basketball team in 2013 before getting injured prior to the start of the 2014 season and transferring to Rhode Island for 2015 season, and then transferring to a four-year school in 2016.

The Henry Ford College softball team, led by Coach Steve Brown, has had a solid season so far. The team consists of 13 players, 11 freshmen and two sophomores. Their current record is 10-10 overall, with a league play record of 4-4.

Henry Ford College Splits Double-Header with Delta College

On April 6, the Henry Ford College Hawks men’s baseball team played a double-header against the Delta College Pioneers. Henry Ford lost 5-3 in the first game but prevailed 3-1 in the second.
