you didn’t hear our cries
you didn’t see our dead
you didn’t feel our pain

yet you hear our guns
yet you see our rage
yet you feel their pain

our homes destroyed
our food wasted
our water tainted
our women raped
our children dead
our men slaughtered

yet they cry out the wrong name
free israel
free israel
free israel from what

they have taken our food
they have taken our water
they have taken our homes
they have taken our electricity
they have taken our children
they have taken our women
they have taken our men
yet you want to free them?

where were you for us?
you there for shani louk
she’s alive and okay
where were you for us?
you were there for 40 beheaded babies
they don’t even exist
where were you for us?

your support was conditional
your love was lies
you turned to support israeli lives

do we not matter
are we not alive?
do my people not have a right to survive?

i want to cry
but then i’m weak
i want to scream

i have to stay silent for the death of my people
i have to condemn the liberation of my people
you called the indigenous savages
you called black people animals
