Annual Student Art Exhibition

Each year the art department at Henry Ford College puts on their Annual Student Art Exhibition and the Graduating Student Art Show. This year the department gave first, second, and third place awards, as well as honorable mentions. Each separate department was well represented, including the two-dimensional and three-dimensional. Graphic Design, Interior Design, Drawing, Painting, Ceramics, Art History, and Two and Three Dimensional Design classes all had student work displayed throughout the gallery. The reception was on Monday, April 4, when Steve Glazer, the gallery director, presented the awards to students. The reception lasted from 6:45 to 7 pm with many refreshments provided. Everyone in attendance enjoyed themselves and the atmosphere of the Sisson Gallery was very inviting. The exhibition ran until the 14 of April, but stay tuned to see the Graduating Student Art Show, which will directly follow the student show. Based on the terrific outcome of the Annual Student Show, it’s bound to be just as impressive.
