WHFR.FM

WHFR broadcast from HFCC and the broadcast studio located in the Student Activities Building next door to the student Activities office. It is also on line at www.whfr.fm and featured podcasts of many of the program news and music formats. As a public nonprofit station WHFR relies on listener donations and sponsor support. It has been broadcasting from the college for twenty five years.
The objective of the radio station is to promote alternative music and formats which are not broadcast on commercial radio station. Jazz music has for the most part been relegated to late evenings and promote established artist. WHFR is one of the few remaining stations which still broadcast jazz music during the day and early weekends.
