Arts & Entertainment - We Are All Worthless

Hello everyone welcome back for some more skull smashing ball busting exciting rock and metal news. Well as all of you know this year will be a very memorable time for concerts I’m here to bring you the information you want and need to enjoy yourselves. We have some of the best shows coming up this year in April we have Anthrax along with Exodus. In the month of February we have a crap load of shows that are just going to blow you away The first show that some of you guys might of missed out on was metal fest 2013 at harpos Detroit this show was amazing it showcased over 20 local bands in Michigan and they blew the roof off of the place. More shows that are going to be in town are bands such as Terror hardcore with H20 at the magic stick in Detroit February 26 2013. The last time Terror was in town things were ruff I’m talking stage diving as far as the eye can see two steppers everywhere well hope you can make it to this show I will be there prepare for a facelift because shit is going to get real.
In conclusion to last week’s issue I mentioned the brothers of brutally tour which featured bands Unearth, The Plot in You, Obey the Brave with Emmure and WhiteChapel headlining was a complete success this show was a war party. If you missed out on this tour I really feel bad for you because this show made me pee my pants and I am pretty sure that it would have did the same for you. This show started off with some hard and crazy sounds of Obey the Brave these guys put on a hell of a show this metal/ Harcore band showed us how dangerous two steppers really are, and commanded the pits to turn into a violent frenzy. The second band to grace the stage one of the most electrifying hardcore/metal band The Plot in You these guys destroyed the stage Saint Andrews hall was in an uproar.
The Third band to stomp the stage was Unearth these dudes are the reason why so many people were getting carried away for fighting. There songs bring an energy that makes people lose their minds in the pit. The funniest thing that happened during their set is when font man Trevor Philips asked for a circle pit and no one ran they only continued to hardcore dance, it was the most the craziest thing I was trying to get my friends to run but they said “no way man we don’t do that here we only throw down”. The fourth band to come and create violence in Saint Andrews Hall was the band that most of us came to see was Emmure these guys came and turned the venue into a war there was no one standing still if you were you wouldn’t be for long once the pit came to you. Finally the moment that everyone was waiting for WhiteChapel one of the Death Core Gods came into Saint Andrews with one thing on their minds and that was to cause as many injuries as possible. When they hit the stage there was tension in the air between the hardcore kids and metal kids because the metal heads believe that WhiteChapel is a push pit band not a hardcore dancing band and that’s where the fights start to break out.
Because in the process of hardcore dancing you have kids punching and kicking at the air violently, it’s totally different from metal heads because they push pit and it only requires you to push and shove violently so the two do not mix. Overall the show turned out to be good once they started to get along with each other through the love of metal this show was amazing and showed everyone what Detroit is made of. Okay everyone that’s it for now but be sure to check out next issue because I am keeping you guys updated on Mayhem Festival 2013 news until next time keep those horns up and don’t stop head banging.
