Spring time is here again! That means it’s time for the dreaded spring cleaning. But spring cleaning doesn’t have to be that bad. In fact, not only is spring cleaning green, but it can make you some green for your pockets. Spring cleaning is normally a chore we like to put off, but it can be a good time for you and your wallet. Just remember when you are cleaning, use the 3 R’s. Those are REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE! When you start cleaning your house, you should look around and think of some of the things you don’t need. If you have clothes or furniture you hardly use, donate it to places like the Salvation Army. It can also help you get a tax write off. While cleaning, use green products, such as Lysol Green. Not only is it less costly but it’s better for the environment. Use bins to store plastic and paper wastes and take it to recycling areas. These are some of the key things to do during spring.
Until next time, stay cool and stay green.
