The Podcast You’re Not Listening To!

Are you bored with the mumble jumble on Facebook? Are you tired of receiving only half the truth? Then it’s time to start listening to D Saint Radio. The idea first came to light in March 2008, and took fruition in October of the same year. D Saint was founded by Reginald Pinkston, a.k.a. Shadow Akuma. I sat down with him and asked him why he started D Saint Radio and how he came up with the name.
“The thought actually came to me when I was helping a friend with her Podcast. I started thinking what I would do if I was to create one, and the name D Saint came from a friend’s character they created called Devil Saint.”
I asked him what the show discusses and how often fans could expect a new episode. “The show is a podcast of the geeky variety. We talk about music we are listening to at the current moment, reviews of different movies, television shows, and topics that comes to our heads. We try to keep it exciting for all,” Akuma replied.
To make things run a little smoother, Akuma decided to get some of his close friends to help him on the show. “When I first started D Saint, I was doing it by myself. It got kind boring and I got tired of my own voice. If anyone wanted to start a podcast of their own, recruit friends—it makes it easier and more fun.”
Other people working on the podcast include: Maxwell Knight, Ziven, Final, and Valistance; and I must admit, these are some of the best people this journalist has had the pleasure of meeting. So if you are ever in the mood to get the real truth about issues like SOPA and you want to hear hilarious topics, become a friend of D Saint Radio.

Akuma’s final thought: “If you are a geek, be proud to be a geek. Embrace it!! Enjoy it!!”
