‘Imagine the Possibilities: Non-Traditional Health Careers for Men’

HFCC will host 'Imagine the Possibilities: Non-Traditional Health Careers for Men' Wednesday, April 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room H-150 in the Health Careers Education Center, which is located on the main campus.
This Perkins-funded event is coordinated by HFCC's University Transfer, Advising & Career Counseling Center.
'The Perkins Act provides funding to improve gender participation and completion in nontraditional programs that prepare individuals for under-represented occupations,' said HFCC counselor Deb Glazer, co-coordinator of this event.
The event schedule is as follows:

8 a.m.: registration
8:15 a.m.: welcome
8:30 a.m.: physical therapy assistant, medical assistant biller
9 a.m.: respiratory therapy
9:30 a.m.: radiography
10 a.m.: nursing
10:30 a.m.: keynote presentation
11 a.m.: surgical technology
11:30 a.m.: ophthalmic technician
Noon: pharmacy technology
12:30 p.m.: lunch/prizes
