Breathe Easy: All Three HFCC Campuses are Now Smoke Free

On January 1, 2012, Henry Ford Community College became smoke free at all three campus locations, which include the main campus, the Dearborn Heights campus, and the East Campus. HFCC joined hundreds of colleges and universities across the nation that have taken this important step.
Providing a smoke free campus promotes a healthy environment in which students, faculty, administrators and staff can learn and work. A smoke free campus also sets the example that Henry Ford Community College is committed to wellness and supports a healthy campus.
Smoking is permissible in personal vehicles as well as two designated locations only: behind the Technology Building and just north of Student Parking Lot D, near the SME building. Please review the maps placed around the main campus for the yellow box highlighted areas where smoking is permitted (shown on the map to the left with an ‘x’).
