Fall Star Talk: "The Road Not Taken"

The fall season at Henry Ford Community College has more to offer than just changing leaves and a drop in temperature. Our planetarium, located on the main floor of the Science Building, is presenting a fall star talk called “The Road Not Taken” every Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.

“The shows offer information on the stars and constellations that are visible during the fall season, as well as visible planets and other topics of astronomical interest,” explained former Planetarium Director, Michael C. LoPresto, who also wrote and produced the shows.

He went onto say that the voice of Susan McGraw, head of the telecommunications department at HFCC, will narrate the shows, and that they will also feature automated visuals and background music.

The planetarium also offers free field trip shows for local schools and other community groups. The shows are free and open to the public, as well.
